For roofing companies in central Indiana

The calls you didn't answer last month.

I will tell you exactly how many there were, what time they came in, and which people called twice and never got through. Built from your own phone records, back to you in 48 hours.

Call that number any time, day or night. The same kind of assistant I install for roofers is the one that answers, so the call is the demo.

You already paid for these calls.

Every one of them is somebody who saw your truck, got your name from a neighbor, or clicked an ad you paid for, and then dialed your number. When it rings out at seven at night, that is not a lead you lost. That is a lead you bought and then dropped.

Most owners think they answer nearly everything. In one study of home services companies, 97 percent believed they were answering, and 66 percent actually were. Invoca put roughly 27 percent of home services calls as unanswered in 2025. I am not going to tell you your number, because I do not know it yet. That is the entire point of the audit.

The storm week is the real problem. Three days of hail and the phone does something it never does the rest of the year. That is the week you cannot staff for and the week the jobs are biggest.

Step one

The missed call audit.

A written report on your unanswered calls, from your own phone records. No access to your systems, no calls to your customers, no recordings listened to. You export one file and send it to me.

$500 to $750

Paid up front, priced on your call volume. If you go on to have me install anything within 30 days, the entire fee comes off the setup. You do not pay for it twice.

48 hours

From the moment I have a usable call log. If I cannot build the report from what you send and cannot sort it out with you inside three business days, you get all of it back.

Why me and not the guy in your inbox.

I have already built this for roofers

I was the CTO and co-founder of an AI company where we put phone agents into production for roofing companies. Nine custom tools on the phone system, two carrier registrations approved, a platform migration, and I am the one who found the cause when the vendor went down mid-day. I am not learning this on your phone number.

Everyone else is selling you texting

I went through what the current crop of AI agencies actually sell. It is text message follow-up, review requests and a chat widget, bundled around a phone call that still nobody picks up. Useful. Not the same thing as answering.

I am independent

I resell nobody and I take no vendor commissions. The accounts are opened in your name with your billing, and I am added as an administrator. If you fire me you keep the number, the setup and the history.

I will tell you when the answer is no

If you run one truck, answer your own phone all day and your average job is small, this does not pay for itself and I will say so on the first call rather than sell you something that fails in month three.

Step two, only if the audit says so

Something that picks up when nobody can.

An automated assistant on your existing number. Your published number does not change. Nothing on your trucks, your yard signs or your Google listing changes. Calls ring your people first exactly like they do today, and it only picks up when nobody else does.

$1,500 to $2,500

One time setup, half at signature and half when it goes live. Your audit fee comes off this.

$850 / month

500 minutes included. Month to month, 30 days notice either way, no annual contract and no buyout.

$250 to $400

Carrier registration for business texting, done properly, with delivery monitoring so a silent carrier rejection does not go unnoticed for a month.

What I will not do.

The questions I get every time.

We already have voicemail.
Somebody with water coming through a ceiling does not leave a voicemail. They hang up and call the next roofer. Voicemail catches the patient callers. The urgent ones are the jobs, and they are the ones you are losing.
Does it sound like a robot?
Some of them do. Get me on the phone and I will demo one live while you listen, so you can judge it yourself and tell me straight if it is bad. And to be honest with you, it tells every caller it is an automated assistant in the first sentence, so nobody is being fooled either way.
What happens when it gets something wrong?
It will, at some point. Every call is transcribed, so I can show you exactly what was said rather than guess. Two rounds of corrections are included in the first 30 days. And there is a fallback at the carrier so a failure means calls go to your cell, not into a hole.
We tried something like this and it was terrible.
Usually one of two things: a generic bot that knew nothing about roofing, or nobody set up the handoff so callers got stuck talking to it with no way to reach a person. Tell me what yours did and I will tell you honestly whether it is fixable.
All our work comes from referrals.
That is the best kind of work, and it is the strongest reason to pick up. When somebody is referred to you they call once. If they get voicemail they go back to the person who referred them and say they could not reach you. That costs you the job and it costs you the referrer.
What do you actually need from me to start?
One file: an export of your inbound call log for last month. Tell me who your phone service is through and I will send you the four clicks to get it. It takes about two minutes. Then your normal hours, your rough average job value, and who picks up today after five.

Start with the audit.

Call me. Fifteen minutes, no charge, and if the numbers do not justify doing anything I will tell you that on the phone.
