Small business IT support · Fishers, Carmel, Indy's northside
IT support where the owner picks up the phone.
I'm Patrick. Since 2008 I've been the technology guy for locally owned businesses around Indy's northside and Carmel. One person, $150 an hour, no contract, and no ticket queue between you and the fix.
Free first call. Fifteen minutes, no pitch. I answer the phone myself.
What I fix
The systems your business runs on.
Sixteen years of running the technology small businesses depend on. Handled remotely the same day, on-site when it genuinely needs hands.
The thing that is broken right now
Email that stopped. The machine that won't start. The failure nobody else could work out.
Networks and Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi that works in every room, a network that is set up on purpose, and somebody who knows what every box in the closet does.
Backups that actually restore
Most backups have never been tested. I test yours, because the day you need it is the wrong day to find out.
Security sized for a small office
Not an enterprise program. The handful of things that matter, done properly. A stolen laptop should be an errand, not a catastrophe.
Email and Microsoft 365
Accounts, mailboxes, shared files, the new hire who starts Monday and the one who left last month.
Buying the right thing once
New machines, a move, a new line of business. I resell nobody, so the advice is the one I would take with my own money.
IT and AI from the same person
The IT guy who also builds AI.
Most IT people will tell you AI is somebody else's department. I've worked inside an AI startup and I run these models on my own hardware every day. So when your staff start pasting customer details into ChatGPT, or a new AI feature shows up in the software you already pay for, you have someone who knows what it does with your data.
- AI set up safely. Which tools your team can use, with what information, and the settings that keep it private. Nothing sensitive leaves your business without your say-so.
- The busywork goes first. The retyped email replies, the copy and paste between two systems, the quote that waits for a free afternoon. Once the IT underneath is solid, those are the first things I automate.
- A phone that gets answered. I build AI phone assistants that pick up when your people can't. One answers my own business line.
- A straight no when it is a no. These tools hand out wrong answers that read perfectly. I catch that, and if AI is the wrong tool for the job I will tell you.
AI is only as good as the IT it sits on. Clean accounts, tested backups and a network that works come first. That is why it helps to have one person who does both.
No surprise bills
What it costs.
Troubleshooting, networks, backups, security, the machine nobody can fix. Billed for the time it actually takes.
No monthly minimum and no per-seat fee you pay whether or not anything broke. A monthly arrangement if you want one, cancelled any time.
Fifteen minutes, no charge and no pitch. You tell me what is eating your time and I tell you what I would fix first if it were my money.
Who answers when you call
One person, and he actually knows this stuff.
Kind Technology Solutions is one person. Me, Patrick. Since 2008 I've been the technology guy for locally owned businesses around Indy's northside and Carmel. Most keep me long enough that I'm part of the team. No tier-one script, no handoff, no call center.
