AI phone answering · central Indiana

Every call answered, even when nobody can pick up.

An automated assistant on your existing number. It picks up when your people can't, gets the details, transfers the urgent ones and texts you inside a minute. Don't take my word for it. Call my line and hear one work.

Call that number any time, day or night. The assistant that answers my own business line is the same kind I install, so the call is the demo. To reach me directly: 317.536.5884.

Why me

I have already run this in production.

I was the co-founder and CTO of an AI company where I built a 24/7 phone receptionist for a two-state roofing company. I am not learning this on your phone number.

8,000+

inbound calls went through the assistant I built for them.

60% to 90%

They were answering under 60 percent of their calls. The month it went live that was over 90 percent.

131

appointments it booked on its own in six months.

You already paid for the calls you miss. Every one is somebody who saw your sign, got your name from a friend, or clicked an ad you paid for, and then dialed your number. When it rings out, that is a lead you bought and then dropped.

How it works

Something that picks up when nobody can.

Your published number does not change. Calls ring your people first exactly like they do today, and the assistant only picks up when nobody else does.

  • It says what it is. The first sentence tells the caller it is an automated assistant. That is not negotiable and I will not build it any other way.
  • It gets the useful things: who is calling, what they need, how urgent it is, and how to reach them back.
  • You get a text inside a minute, with the transcript behind it.
  • Urgent calls transfer to whoever you name, on the rules you set.
  • If it ever stops working, calls fall through to your cell. That fallback sits at the phone company, above the assistant, so the worst case is exactly the setup you have today.
  • I test it with a real call every night and I listen to your first twenty calls myself.

Start small

Step one is a report, not a robot.

Before anything gets installed, I tell you exactly how many calls went unanswered last month, what time they came in, and who called twice and never got through. Built from your own phone records, back to you in 48 hours. If the numbers say you don't need anything, that is what the report will say.

$500 to $750

The missed call audit. Paid up front, priced on your call volume. If you have me install anything within 30 days, the entire fee comes off the setup.

$1,500 to $2,500

One time setup. Half at signature and half when it goes live. Your audit fee comes off this.

$850 / month

500 minutes included. Month to month, 30 days notice either way, no annual contract and no buyout.

The accounts are opened in your name with your billing, and I am added as an administrator. If you fire me you keep the number, the setup and the history.

What I will not do.

  • No robocalling your customers or your old leads. Not now, not for extra money. This answers your phone. It never dials out.
  • No pretending it is a person. Callers are told, every time.
  • No promises about revenue or booked jobs. I guarantee that calls get answered and that you get told about them. That is what goes in the agreement.
  • No lock-in. Your numbers, your data, your accounts.

The questions I get every time.

Does it sound like a robot?
Some of them do. Call 765-571-3285 and judge mine for yourself, then tell me straight if it is bad. It tells every caller it is an automated assistant in the first sentence, so nobody is being fooled either way.
We already have voicemail.
Somebody with an urgent problem does not leave a voicemail. They hang up and call the next company. Voicemail catches the patient callers. The urgent ones are the jobs, and they are the ones you are losing.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your published number does not change, and neither does anything printed with it. Calls ring your people first exactly like they do today. The assistant only picks up when nobody else does.
What happens when it gets something wrong?
It will, at some point. Every call is transcribed, so I can show you exactly what was said rather than guess. Two rounds of corrections are included in the first 30 days. And there is a fallback at the carrier, so a failure means calls go to your cell, not into a hole.
We tried something like this and it was terrible.
Usually one of two things: a generic bot that knew nothing about the business, or nobody set up the handoff so callers got stuck with no way to reach a person. Tell me what yours did and I will tell you honestly whether it is fixable.
Will it call my customers?
Never. This answers your phone. It does not dial out. An artificial voice on an outbound call is a federal problem and I will not put your company anywhere near it.
What do you need from me to start?
One file: an export of your inbound call log for last month. Tell me who your phone service is through and I will send you the clicks to get it. Then your normal hours, your rough average job value, and who picks up today after five.
What if it does not pay for itself for us?
Then I will say so on the first call. If you answer your own phone all day and your average job is small, this is the wrong purchase, and I would rather tell you than sell you something that fails in month three.
